Coming from
Wix gives you no usable export, so the site gets rebuilt properly and the content moves by hand. You can keep the look you have, or we improve it while we are in there.
Squarespace exports part of the way. We take what comes across cleanly, rebuild the rest, and fix the URL structure it locks you into.

Sometimes the build is fine and the hosting is the problem. We move it to New Zealand servers and tune it rather than start from scratch.

A custom WordPress build starts at $1,499 + GST. You get a fixed quote before we start, so the number you approve is the number you pay. No hourly surprises at the end.
Moving you off your current platform costs nothing when you go onto Hosting and Care, which starts at $49 + GST a month on New Zealand servers and includes updates, daily backups, monitoring and a real person in Tauranga to ring. No migration fee, no lock-in contract.
Questions we get asked
Not if the move is done properly. Every existing URL gets a 301 redirect to its new home, your page titles, headings and content carry over, and we resubmit the sitemap on launch day. Rankings normally settle within a couple of weeks, and a faster site usually helps them.
Yes. Your domain is yours and it stays yours. We simply point it at the new site. If you would rather have the domain, hosting and site all in one place, we can move the registration too.
Email is separate from your website, so it keeps running exactly as it does now. We check your DNS records before anything changes so mail delivery is never interrupted.
A small business site is usually two to four weeks from brief to launch, and most of that is design and content rather than the technical move. The switch itself happens in a day.
