We work hourly on existing WordPress sites for Tauranga businesses that don’t need a full retainer but do need someone reliable when things break or when small improvements add up. Send the issue, get a time estimate, get it fixed.

What is the minimum charge?

There is no minimum. We send a time estimate before starting any job so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Do you do urgent same-day work?

Yes when capacity allows. Same-day work carries a 50% surcharge on the hourly rate to cover dropping other work to make space. Hosting & Care clients get priority and often skip the surcharge depending on the issue.

Can you work on sites you did not build?

Yes, as long as we can get clean admin access. We will not patch a fundamentally broken site indefinitely though. If we look under the hood and the site needs a rebuild rather than a band-aid, we will tell you straight.

What kind of work will you not take on?

We will not work on sites we cannot get full admin access to. We will not keep applying band-aids to a site that genuinely needs a full custom website build. We will not guarantee a fix in under one hour because most jobs take one to three hours of careful work to do properly.

Do you offer retainers or packages instead?

Yes, our Hosting & Care plans roll a set number of monthly minor updates into the monthly fee, plus you get priority queue and faster turnaround on any extra hourly work. If you find yourself needing hourly help every few weeks, the Hosting & Care plan usually works out cheaper. And if you want your site actively climbing Google, check out our monthly SEO plans.
